Admission is based upon the complete application file; including official transcripts of all academic work, official college score reports from ACT and/or SAT, references, and personal statements on the application form. If you are not entering college directly out of high school, you may want to check our admissions procedures for transfers, Adult and Graduate Studies students, international students, post-secondary students, and home-schooled students. Consideration is given to academic achievement and conduct consistent with the Christian values and moral principles of the University. By signing the application, the student commits herself or himself to abiding by the academic and lifestyle standards of the University upon enrollment. Students considering Mount Vernon Nazarene University are encouraged to visit the campus, to meet admissions personnel, tour the campus, and receive information about admission requirements, the academic program, extracurricular opportunities, and standards of conduct. Those desiring a personal or group visit should contact the Admissions Office for arrangements 7 to 10 days prior to the projected date of the visit.
