What Can I Do?

What can I do on campus?

AIM students are involved in a variety of activities, clubs, and organizations across campus, both through the Office of Multicultural Affairs and through other University-sponsored trips and events. They also serve as Student Government Association leaders, resident assistants, MCA student ambassadors, scholar athletes, and worship and small group leaders.

AIM student programs include:
  • Cross Cultural Club - An AIM student organization for all students
  • Diversity Leadership Scholars Program - AIM leadership development
  • Project RECRUIT! - A collaborative AIM student recruitment program with Ohio’s urban public schools.
  • Turtle Mentoring Program - Faculty and staff mentoring of AIM Students
  • Mu Kappa - A national organization for missionary students
  • Host Families and Host Offices – Opportunities to support AIM students
What about off campus?

For all students, MVNU desires to provide experiences outside of the campus community—through service opportunities, internships, and national and international mission trips.

A focus on serving others is crucial to MVNU’s mission.

You have the opportunity to:
  • Experience urban and rural settings outside of campus
  • Serve multicultural communities and people
  • Develop personal choices of service and involvement
  • Gain experientially-based leadership skills
  • Strengthen individual and group decision-making abilities
